Hopewell Junction Fair.
Under this flouresent sunset. . .
with pink clouds and flashing flights. . .
I took these. . .
and regret not riding the ferris wheel.. .
for the bird's eye view.
What better way to celebrate a birthday than making an impression, in the sand that is. Today is my husband's birthday and I was deteremined to make these at some point during the summer. Only thing is the rain scared us off the beach before I got a photo of the finished product.
First thing is to collect pretty shells, rocks and beach glass.
Flatten out some wet sand and make a foot or hand prints. Fill the prints with the shells and such you collected.
prepare the plaster of paris, pour it in and play while it hardens.
Or in our case wrap them in a towel and make a run for the car to escape an oncoming thunderstorm.
